Opinion

Return incumbents in District 95

Incumbents get our nod in the Lake Zurich Unit School District 95 field.

Tony Pietro, Doug Goldberg and Jim Burke should get your vote.  All have done a good job helping steward Lake Zurich's schools.  The district is in good shape academically and financially.

They have acted prudently on a number of issues that have been tossed their way. The budget shows a surplus, a good thing for any school district in this day and age.

We hope they will aggressively pursue improving air quality program for the whole district.  It took some serious prodding by parents to get this started.

But on the whole, they have done a good job and deserve to return to the board.
